A Softer World is a nine-month journey for mixed media misfits, rebels, and tender-hearted creatives who are ready to swap perfection for presence, dogma for devotion, and hustle for the holy pause.

We'll begin on SEPTEMBER 7th, 2025 and wrap up on MAY 17th, 2026.

Each month, we gather around a new theme from “Enchanting The Ordinary” to “Full Bloom” to explore what it means to tend to our lives through art journaling, written journaling, ritual, community, and more.

This isn’t a course you take and forget! It's a way to keep coming home to yourself, one gentle noticing at a time.

• One theme to explore per month. And it will come to you in a downloadable PDF workbook that includes musings, journaling prompts, ritual practices, a custom tarot/oracle spread, a monthly playlist, and more.

• Monthly Mixed Media Art Journaling Tutorials. These will have an emphasis on meeting yourself on the page, showing up as you are, using what you have, and creating for your own pleasure, not the gaze of others.

• Monthly Live Play Parties (On Zoom). Because A Softer World needs more blanket forts, and community art dates. YES! THERE WILL BE REPLAYS!

• A Space Of Our Own. Come as you are, leave your armor at the door. Join us on Discord, in the class discussion forum onsite, or on Facebook (or ALL THREE!).

I’m Effy Wild, and I’ve spent a lifetime learning how to make beauty out of ashes. I’ve lived through more Tower Moments than I can count, and what’s saved me, every time, is the practice of paying attention to what's going on inside me and outside me, and creating something about it. This is how I enchant the ordinary and document the holy, human mess that is my life.

I built A Softer World for all of us who want to believe that there’s more to life than the way the world is worlding right now. We are done with the doomscrolling. We're over clicks and likes and follows. We're tired of buying things we'll never use or hopping on trends that mean nothing to us.

We just want to create something honest. We want to delight ourselves and find (or if we can't find it, create) some whimsy, peace, and beauty in the middle of the mess.

Finding bliss among the ruins is my superpower and I'm here to show you how.
